Pricing department and Methods desk aim at defining methods of
moulding, pouring and riser system, that take into account
customer’s requirements in a cost-effective manner

•   There is a close cooperation between Pricing department and Methods desk to optimize production costs.


•   Some methods, such as shrinkage prediction, riser or pouring system have to be defined before the pattern is designed.


•   Methods desk orders the pattern according to the required characteristics. The pattern is made out of wood or metal.


•   If the pattern exists already, the Methods desk defines the required adaptations if necessary.

Since 2008, the Group has been using a software package – NOVAFLOW- for simulation and prediction of solidification (see enclosed picture)
